The scope of this proj... The existing RAPCON facility has obsolete electrical distribution systems. The buildings main switchgear, backup generators and subpanels are obsolete which need to be replaced. The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the replacement and relocation of the buildings two backup generators and the associated automatic transfer switches. In the existing electrical room replace the existing switchgear with main distribution panels MDP and replace subpanels throughout the facility with modern panels. New conductors and conduits will be added between the new MDP and new subpanels to ensure mission requirements are met during construction phase. Because of the important function of this facility to the Vance AFB flying mission, contractor is required to minimize disruptions related to power outages during the hours specified in the plans and specifications. In addition, the interior distribution work, contractor will replace buildings interior, exterior and parking lot lighting with equivalent LED options and with lighting controls. This is a 100 percent Small Business Set Aside.
