This presolicitation notice is for informational purposes only in conducting market research. The Space Launch Delta 45 (SLD 45)/45th Contracting Squadron is in the process of conducting market research to provide Ascension Base Operations Support services. The services are for the Operations and & Maintenance, and other base support for facilities and systems at Ascension Auxiliary Air Field (AAAF) to support the SLD 45, Department of Defense, civil and treaty partner operations at AAAF. NOTE: RFIs may be issued throughout the acquisition process so please monitor www.sam.gov on a regular basis. Responses to RFIs are not required. RFI responses will not be shared with industry. The Government will not reimburse any cost associated with submitting information in response to this RFI, nor shall any costs be allowed on any Government contract. Requested Information: The following questions list the information requested from respondents within a 5 page limit: 1. Are the page limitations set forth in Section L, paragraph 1.4.1. appropriate? If not, please explain why and what page limitation would be more appropriate. 2. Are there any areas of ambiguity within the evaluation factors? Are there any areas of ambiguity with regard to the evaluation process for past performance? 3. Are there any areas within the evaluation factors that are unnecessarily restrictive? 4. Are three past performance citations adequate to convey the scope of past performance experience with regards to the past performance evaluation factor? 5. Please provide any additional feedback as appropriate regarding the documents provided. Response Deadline: Responses to this RFI shall be provided no later than 5 January 2022. Unsolicited proposals submitted in response to this RFI will not be considered or reviewed.
