Description: SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY: The United States Air Force Reserve Command - Contracting, located at Minneapolis, Minnesota, is conducting market research to determine the existence of interested sources capable of providing a total of: Ten (10) Passive Attenuation Communications Earphone System (PACE) (For Headsets) Part Number: PFG-PACE-1001-CUST NSN: 5965016650644 Product Service Code: 5821- Radio and Television Communication Equipment, Airborne NAICS CODE: 334290-OTHER COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING This IS NOT a request for proposals, this is a request for information from industry that will allow the Government to identify interested sources capable of fulfilling the requirement. The information sought is for planning purposes and shall not be construed as an obligation or commitment on the part of the Government to acquire any product or service. If you are an interested source and capable of meeting the entire requirement without failure please provide the following voluntary information: 1) Company name and Point of Contact 2) DUNS number and CAGE code 3) Socioeconomic Status (to include 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOB, etc.), if applicable 4) GSA Schedule Contract Holder Information, to include contract number, if applicable 5) Brief Statement of Capability (no more than 5 pages). Be advised, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 6 August 2020 at 8:00 AM Central Time. A determination by the government not to compete future requirements based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. In the event that a solicitation is formed for this requirement, this purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. If it is determined that this requirement is a sole source requirement, Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.3 may be used. Please be advised, funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under a solicitation for this requirement until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel a solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels a solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror/submitee for any costs.
