The scope of this acquisition includes the End-of-Life purchase of one Military GPS User Equipment (MGUE) Increment 1 (Inc 1) Common GPS Module (CGM) in support of DoD Military-Grade GPS Receivers and GPS-aided Precision Guide Munitions. The resulting contract will also include requirements to store, manage, account for, validate, and distribute Collins’ respective MGUE Inc 1 CGM product using a vendor-managed inventory (VMI) system. Solicitation SPE7MX-20-R-0147 will establish three contract line item numbers (CLINs), one for the Collins CGM, one VMI CLIN, and one for a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) CLIN. The CLINs being procured are in accordance with the below approved sources/part numbers: CLIN 0001: Collins (CGM) NSN: 5962-01-688-3706 Approved Source: Collins (13499) P/N 835-1032-010 CLIN 0002: Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) NSN: N/A Approved Source: N/A CLIN 0003: CDRLs NSN: N/A Approved Source: N/A The solicitation will be unrestricted as Collins is the only approved source of supply for the CGM. CLINs will be acquired through a commercial acquisition solicitation format using FAR Part 12 procedures and are not expected to require the submission of Certified Cost or Pricing Information. This acquisition will result in the award of one, firm-fixed price purchase order for the three CLINs. The Government anticipates a period of performance consisting of an initial production period of 1-to-2 years and 7-to-8 years of Vendor Managed Inventory for a potential maximum total of 9 years. The solicitation will include estimated quantities for CLIN 0001. Contract funding maximums will be defined based on the amount of available/approved funding at the time of award. Though the only approved source of supply for this CGM is Collins, additional interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The solicitation will be available in DLA DIBBS on or around its issue date of 7/31/2020. The website is https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp
