The US Army CECOM Life Cycle Management Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005, is seeking sources that can produce and deliver the WX-500 Storm Scope. The ordering period will be October 1st 2020 through September 30th 2022 to enable a seamless supply of Storm Scopes used on several Army aircraft platforms. The current Source of Supply is L3 Communications Avionics Systems, 5353 52nd Street, Grand Rapids, MI 49512-9407, CAGE: 25583. A complete technical data package defining the manufacture and acceptance of this item is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this item must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: RDER-PRA-AB, Building 6007, 3rd floor, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1846. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the above source or a statement from above source demonstrating that the supplier can in fact supply the Army with units that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the units from the previous supplier. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that these items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
