The Air Force intends to solicit and issue a sole source contract to Ingersoll Machine Tools Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(2) for the following: The Electrospindle will be purchased and sent to Tinker AFB. • The Contractor shall travel to TAFB for six (6) days for the Installation of the new 65 kW HSK A 100 spindle. • The Contractor shall provide Performance Verification. • The Contractor shall make all necessary adjustments to the Electrospindle until the item is fully operational IAW the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications and to what is stated in this PWS. This requirement is Sole Source vendor Per the OEM, Ingersoll Machine Tools is the only authorized distributor for the Electrospindle. OBCA reached out to Ingersoll Machine Tools and verified capability with Jason Melcher. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333517 with a size standard of 500 EMP. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a proposal.
