This notice is a Pre-Solicitation/Synopsis for a commercial material procurement. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to award one (1) Firm-Fixed Price contract to National Instruments Corporation (CAGE 64667) as the manufacturer of hardware components to provide technical refresh of existing Data Acquisition System (DAS) components. NSWCPD has a requirement for replacement commercially available hardware components that are exclusive to National Instruments Corporation and its authorized resellers as it is the only qualified hardware that meets the program requirements for technical refresh of the existing DAS components. Additionally, NSWCPD’s DAS utilizes National Instruments Labview software to perform the data acquisition. The Government intends to solicit with only one source under Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901(e)(2). Interested Persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a subsequent quotation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations and does not constitute a solicitation. However, all responses received prior to the closing date, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available.
