NSN: 2920-01-187-3636 Electrical Starter Motor used to start the 6V53T engine in the M113A3 family of Vehicles. This starter motor has unique RPM, Torque, and output HP curves depending upon voltage and current inputs. The starter motor also has a defined mounting flange orientation, which allows the starter motor to be installed and attached to the 6V53T engine. In addition, the starter motor has corrosion protection requirements, which exceed typical industry requirements for starter motors. The Government does not have rights to the Technical Data Package (TDP) or specifications.
