The FA3 Equipment Storage Building is essential for large or heavy critical antenna and facility infrastructure spares storage. The batten insulation & vapor barrier have broken down and needs to be replaced. The repairs task shall include all parts, labor, cleanup, disposal, and travel costs. The contractor will need to provide all tooling, and all power tools will need to be tested for possible RF interference. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The work shall be performed at the Wallops Command and Data Acquisition Station (WCDAS) located at 35663 Chincoteague Road, Wallops Island, VA 23337. The solicitation will utilize FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is expected to be released June 1, 2022 after this presolicitation announcement ends with a quotation due date of June 15, 2022. This acquisition will be a total small business set-aside under NAICS 238210, Drywall and Insulation Contractors, with a size standard of $16.5M.
