Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center – Pacific requires ten (10) SVP70 Sound Velocity Probes for the West Coast Fleet. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2120-23-00412 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-01. (iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing; the small business size standard is 1,250 Employees. (v) Line items are as follows: CLIN 1: Two (2) 900-63-1000-20 Teledyne SVP70 probes for the NOAA OMAO West Coast vessels to be delivered 8 – 12 weeks ARO. CLIN 2: Five (5) 900-63-1000-20 Teledyne SVP70 probes for the NOAA Ship Fairweather to be delivered no later than six (6) weeks ARO. CLIN 3: One (1) 900-63-1000-20 Teledyne SVP70 probe for NOAA Ship Rainier main hull mount to be delivered ASAP ARO. CLIN 4: Two (2) 900-63-1000-20 Teledyne SVP70 probes as spares for Electronic Depot in Newport to be delivered 8 – 12 weeks ARO. (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The vendor is to provide the items in CLIN 1-4 per the attached statement of need. (vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point. (ix) Defense Priorities and Allocations Systems (DPAS) and assigned ratings is not applicable.
