The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), on behalf of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) Narragansett, Rhode Island, requires snow and ice removal services for base year plus four option years as specified in the solicitation and statement of work for NOAA/NEFSC located at 28 Tazwell Drive, Narragansett, RI 02882. Period of Performance: 22 December 2022 through 21 December 2027 (Base plus four (4) option years). Department of Labor Wage Determination (as incorporated) is applicable to the work. The NAICS code is 561790 with a size standard of $8.0M. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-08, effective October 28, 2022. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract to the contractor whose offer represents the best value considering past performance and price. RFQ is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 via the Federal Contracts Opportunities via SAM.gov website https://sam.gov/content/home. It is incumbent upon the contractors to monitor the SAM Federal Contract Opportunities site all subsequent amendments. The anticipated award date will be on or about December 6, 2022. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 (Commercial Acquisition)). All responsible small business concerns/sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Firms offering a response to this notice shall ensure that they are registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), https://sam.gov/content/home , prior to submission of proposals.
