The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Edinburg, TX, requires powdered agar in the diet for rearing sterile fruit flies at multiple locations in the continental United States (U.S) and outside the U.S. Pricing for items must include cost of delivery to anywhere in the continental United States. Shipping costs on orders bound for outside of the continental U.S. will be negotiated at the time they are required. The onsite Government point of contact for delivery will be specified on each delivery order. The intent is to award a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for a five-year period. This procurement is unrestricted. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 8710 – forage and feed. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325411 – Agar-agar manufacturing.
