The Government technical team has determined, in conjunction with the Contracting Officer, that an extension on open advertisement to 5 August 2021 to be reasonable and fair. Hereby extended until 5 August 2021. Amendment 002: Lassen National Forest Fire Area Closure Orders. The posted two Forest Area Closure Orders are now published for public notice on this requirement opportunity. Please ensure that you or your team are aware if you are planning to attend the extended new pre-bid tour dated 20 July 2021 in Amendment 001. There are not expected changes to the site visit date and time and the extended closing date from Amendment 001, no further extensions. Amendment 001: Revised Pre-bid Tour; The prebid tour has been established as 20 July 2021 at 9:00 AM (PDT) at: Almanor Ranger District 900 East Hwy 36, Chester, CA 96020 Soliciation time is extend for a new close date of 29 July 2021 @ 2:30 PM (PDT). Description of Work- The Almanor Deck Removal Stewardship IRSC is comprised of 32 landings scattered across the district. The decks contain combined softwoods and some limbs and tops from post sawtimber processing with an estimated 1,874 CCF (5,154 TONS) for removal from sale area. This project includes two mandatory bid items. These bid items are described in detail in Appendix A and attachments. Landings and Payment Units are shown on the Contract Area Maps. Resulting Contract – Any resultant contract will be a commercial services contract with requirements for timber removal. There are 30 units scattered across the district. There are three units located just off of Hwy 89 just outside of Chester. There is one unit out at Gurnsey Creek Campground on Hwy 36 (West of Chester). There are units located at Mineral work center, Hwy 147 Mill Creek, multiple units down by Philbrook Lake, and there are multiple units from Peacock Pt. to Sunflower Flat. There is one unit on the Humbug County Rd. 307 and one unit on the Humboldt County Rd. 308.
