The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) currently obtains travel support through an integrated travel system including a reservation and booking system that interfaces with an expense system; the services of a travel management company (TMC); and travel system helpdesk/customer service, provided by three different vendors. In performing market research to recompete the travel support function (including a travel system, TMC, and related helpdesk/customer service), the Bureau seeks information from vendors about different configurations and integrations of services offered. Preliminary research indicates that some firms provide integrated travel services, some firms provide a system only, some are TMCs and licensed resellers of travel systems, and so on. The Bureau would like to understand whether a fully integrated travel managed service presents a viable business proposition for businesses. The Bureau seeks to replace its current system with a cloud-based system that meets Government IT requirements and delivers an exceptional user experience. The Bureau is also looking to procure a Travel Management Center (TMC) and travel system helpdesk.
