This is NOT a request for quote. This is a notice of the amendment of the Government's Limited Sources Justification (LSJ) for Contract USCA15BPA1020 for System Security Testing Services awarded to Axxum Technologies pursuant to FAR 8.405-6, Limited Sources. This amended LSJ approves an extension consisting of an additional two (2), six-month option periods, of USCA15BPAC1020. The work currently performed under USCA15BPAC1020 is anticipated to be transitioned to a new contract; however, the work cannot be transitioned at this time because the vendor is scheduled to begin pre-production testing of the system in late July and the assessment will not be completed before the current contract ends on 8/16/2020. The AO is currently working on a re-compete for the services currently provided by Axxum, but it does not make sense to do so mid-assessment. A change in vendor during an assessment would require a complete restart of the assessment, which is critical to the Judiciary's day-to-day operations and the mission of this branch of government. In the interim, an extension to USCA15BPAC1020 is therefore necessary to continue the current assessments that are planned without any delay, disruption or lapse of services.
